Poetry Marathon 2010

2010 Marathon (l-r) Zorina Jerome, Shaun Christensen, Pam Blair

“Come early, leave late, or come late, leave early” at Artpost Gallery’s 2nd Poetry Marathon – a tribute to National Poetry Month in April. This year, 75 poets took turns reading in 15 minute time slots for the entire 24-hour period. A big THANK  YOU to  Fiddler’s Hearth — who will be providing appetizers and brunch for Saturday morning, and to The Foundation for Light Verse, for donating publications to give away during this event, and to the African-American Chamber of Commerce, for lending more chairs!

Below is a YouTube playlist of most of the poets who read — we will be adding more every day.

    Sounds like a blast!

  2. Daniel says:

I noticed this page has changed since the event. Is this an attempt to reflect the actual poets that read (as much as possible) as opposed to those who merely signed up?
Is there video of more of the poets forthcoming?

  3. Kay says:

    Hi Daniel,
Yes, we recorded alot of the poets and are posting them to YouTube now – so the player on this page will be updated as we post them -

  4. Howard Dukes says:

Wondering if I could come down there both to look Erin and Nandita’s exhibits and to talk to you about your artesian well photo exhibit on display at the museum of art.
