McSweeney’s is a small publishing house whose quarterly literary journals have a reputation for showcasing new and upcoming writers. Their initial issue featured only works rejected by other magazines, but thereafter McSweeney’s has published works by many notable people, including Gabe Hudson, Paul Collins, Neal Pollack, J.T. Leroy, John Hodgman, Amy Fusselman, Salvador Plascencia and Sean Wilsey.
These journals not only feature good stories – they are also uniquely designed objects that have won design awards including the AIGA 50 Books Award, AIGA 365 Illustration Award, and the Print Design Regional Award.
We have a number of McSweeny’s journals at Artpost right now, including issues 16, 19, 21, 24 and 25 –
